Positive Behaviour Support

Evidence-based, person-centred behaviour support that looks beneath behaviours of concern to understand the need underneath — building safer, calmer, more positive daily life for you and the people around you.

Understanding behaviour, building positive strategies.

Behaviours of concern are almost always communicating something — frustration, discomfort, unmet needs, or overwhelm. Our Positive Behaviour Support practitioners take the time to properly understand what is happening and why, then build an individualised, evidence-based plan that reduces behaviours of concern by addressing their cause, not just their symptoms. We work closely with participants, families, and support teams to put strategies into practice consistently, and we review and adjust plans as life changes. The goal is always the same: a safer, calmer, more positive daily life — for you and for everyone around you.

What's included:

  • Functional behaviour assessments to understand the "why" behind behaviours of concern
  • Individualised, positive behaviour support plans (NDIS-compliant)
  • Practical strategies for family, carers, and support workers
  • Regular review and adjustment as circumstances change
  • A restraint-reduction, dignity-first approach in everything we do

Who is this for: NDIS participants with Positive Behaviour Support funding, families and carers seeking practical strategies, and anyone whose behaviours of concern are affecting their safety, relationships, or quality of life.
